PhD Candidate, Molecular Biology

Satchel is a PhD student in the Molecular Biology Interdepartmental Program. He grew up in West Los Angeles and graduated UCSC in 2021. After graduation, he continued research at Cedars Sinai before joining the Crooks lab in 2025. As a PhD student in the Crooks lab, he is interested in understanding developmental regulators of T cell ontogeny.
