Vaasu is a third-year undergraduate student majoring in Molecular, Cellular and Developmental Biology. He is interested in understanding how the thymic microenvironment influences T cell differentiation and how stem cell-based models can be used to study human immune development. Outside of the lab, Vaasu is involved in several campus organizations, including the Central Valley Project at UCLA, the American Medical Student Association, Bruin Club Tennis, the Student Alumni Association, and the Alumni Scholars Club.
